The Regional Agency for Active Employment Policies – ARPAL is an instrumental body of the Region of Umbria which is in charge of managing the Employment Centres, active policies and services for employment and procedures related to unemployment status.

ARPAL also deals with the operational planning and delivery of measures to strengthen and develop the services offered by the regional employment system, active policy measures, orientation to work and transition, training and lifelong learning policies, with particular regard to the unemployed and unemployable, apprentices and other employed persons, as well as within the regional vocational education and training system.
