The Public Basic and Secondary School Públia Hortênsia de Castro, recognized with the “Healthy School” and “Climate Action Project School of Excellence” seals, stands out for its commitment to pedagogical innovation and environmental sustainability. As part of a practical and interdisciplinary approach, students developed the EcoBOT, an automated system that uses sensors, artificial intelligence, and an interactive screen to identify and sort waste, educating users about the impacts of recycling. This initiative combines technology, automation, and environmental education to optimize recycling practices and foster a culture of ecological citizenship.
